Practitioner01339...USA . I would like to share my experience in using conference calls to support practitioners in my area, which may be of use to others. When I started as trainer and country coordinator for the USA and Canada in 2012, I wanted to have a way to support practitioners. We had just graduated our first AVP class that October. These practitioners were a very dedicated group. As they began to practice, they would ask me questions. Many times, they had similar questions, so I felt the best way to save time for everybody was to hold a group conference call to answer them. I thought back to my own experience. When I started out as a newly trained practitioner in 1999, I found it very challenging. When I had a question, there was no one in the US I could call for help. Drawing on my experience, I decided to give the new practitioners the additional support they might need as they started providing Sai Vibrionics remedies.
I began these calls two weeks after the initial training. We started by having the conference calls once every two weeks for two months. Then we switched to once every month for nearly a year, ending in August 2013. At the request of practitioners, I recently resumed the group conference calls in September 2014 and plan to continue to offer them monthly for as long as the practitioners find it helpful and they send in their questions.
This is how I organize the calls:
I use a free conference call service: http://freeconferencecall.com, but Skype or other alternatives would work as well.
I email all the active practitioners in the US and Canada to invite them to participate and to send me any questions. Getting the questions in advance is important because I can then prepare written answers and do any research necessary. I don’t share the practitioners’ names when I talk about the questions during the call.
When the time arrives, all the practitioners call in to join the group call, so we can all hear and speak with each other. I ask participants to give their first name when they enter the call.
I keep the calls strictly to one hour.
I use a Question & Answer format. I answer questions related to any aspect of practicing vibro in general, for example, how to respond to inquiries from people or protocols for patient follow-up. But I do not answer questions related to specific cases or questions about specific formulas as I feel this is not beneficial to the overall group. I do respond to such questions by providing information directly to the practitioner who asked, away from the conference call. The conference calls are meant for questions that are not time-sensitive.
If there is time after the Q & A’s are finished, we discuss other questions, general questions about formulas or conditions, about record keeping and most important of all, about our role as a conduit of unconditional Love for each case we serve. I may add some comments. The group sharing during this portion of the call has proven to be valuable, interesting and inspirational to the participants, I’m told.
After the call, the prepared Q & A’s are sent in for possible inclusion in the Sai Vibrionics Newsletter.
Overall, the scheduled monthly conference calls are helpful for the practitioners, a timesaver in allowing me to help more practitioners and a sharing satsang for all of us as we focus on selflessly serving those in need.
