January/February 2014
Dear Practitioners
I would like to begin by wishing all of you a very Holy and Happy New Year!
The countdown has begun and there are barely a few days left before we have the first International Sai Vibrionics Conference at Puttaparthi... how exciting! Preparations have become frantic and we have several volunteers who have been working day and night to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the big day – Sunday 26th January.
I would like to assure all the practitioners who have registered for the conference that accommodation in the ashram will be given to all those who require it. Swami has been gracious and we have been promised accommodation in North 7 (N7) block for practitioners attending the conference. I would request all of you to register in person at N7 from 9 am onwards on January 25th to collect your badges and folders. This is very important as entry to the conference will only be given to those with badges.
The Conference venue is Peda VenkamaRaju Kalyana Mandapam (Swami’s old Mandir). We are indeed fortunate that we have been given this sacred hall to hold our conference. It is a great blessing that we will be able to conduct proceedings throughout the day from 8 am to 6 pm. The Sai Vibrionics exhibition will be open to the delegates on the 26th and to public on the 27th at the same venue. We shall be conducting a meeting-cum-seminar on the morning of the 27th. Details will be provided at the time of registration. A copy of the book of conference proceedings will be available after the conference.
I am sure many of you will have questions to ask at the conference. Please submit them in writing on the note-pad supplied in your folder kit. All questions will be answered either during the conference or the next day (depending on how much time we have). Any unanswered questions will be dealt with in our subsequent newsletters.
Breakfast will be served for all delegates on the 1st floor of the South Indian Canteen. Lunch and tea will be served at the conference venue. There will be a celebration dinner at the North Indian Canteen for all delegates after the conclusion of the conference on the 26th evening.
Swami always stressed the importance of discipline and I am sure that all our participants will conduct themselves as befits an ideal Sai devotee. We must please Him by maintaining the Prashanti Mandir discipline. All practitioners must adhere to the dress code – white pant and shirt for men and modest, full-length clothing for women as worn in the Mandir.
We know Swami has been with us every step of the way from inception to execution of this idea of holding an International conference. Swami may not be physically present, but He will definitely be there with us on our big day to infuse all those present with His love. At the end of this, we hope to all emerge re-charged to go home and practice vibrionics with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
We know that all those who are not able to make it to the conference, will be there in spirit. Once again, wishing you all a beautiful Sai-filled 2014!
In loving service to Sai
