Nosebleed (Epistaxis) 11620...India
A 7-year-old boy had been suffering from recurrent nosebleed since May 2024. Episodes occurred every two to three days in the morning soon after waking up. Bleeding from both nostrils was moderate, his mother would hold a handkerchief against his nose until it stopped in about three minutes. It was also observed that the boy had been breathing through his mouth while sleeping. He was otherwise healthy and active.
On 20 June 2024, the boy's parents consulted a doctor who diagnosed him with epistaxis due to grade 3 adenoid hypertrophy (reports available) and prescribed a nasal spray. The spray was used for three months but there was no improvement. His grandmother, a vibrionics beneficiary, brought him to a vibrionics camp on 6 July 2025, where the practitioner gave:
CC3.2 Bleeding disorders + CC10.1 Emergencies + CC12.2 Child tonic + CC19.5 Sinusitis…6TD orally and BD as nasal drops.
Treatment progress:
- 3 Aug 2025: Only one episode lasting a minute.
- 21 Aug 2025: Oral dosage reduced to TDS.
- 18 Sept 2025: Again, one episode lasting under a minute.
- 16 Oct 2025: One mild episode with 2 to 3 drops of blood; able to breathe normally through nose during sleep.
- 18 Dec 2025: No further episodes; oral remedy reduced to BD and nasal drops to OD.
- 3 Feb 2026: Oral remedy reduced to OD.
As of June 2026, there has been no recurrence. Remedies are continued at OD for maintenance.
