Chronic anal fissures 11654...India
A 50-year-old housewife underwent fissurectomy in Jan 2020 after enduring five months of painful anal fissures (tears). Soon after surgery, new tears developed, accompanied by a skin tag, painful bowel movements, and recurrent episodes of anal swelling, severe pain, and occasional abscesses. These flare-ups were typically triggered by hard stools, especially during her unavoidable monthly long car journeys to care for her ailing mother. Her condition made walking or sitting uncomfortable, severely impacting her quality of life.
Fearing another surgery, she avoided further allopathic consultations. Instead, she relied on a combination of homoeopathy, topical allopathic and ayurvedic creams, and dietary adjustments. With this regimen, swelling and pain would subside in about 20 days, only to recur with the next long journey. During severe episodes, she took allopathic stool softeners.
Desperate for a simple and a more effective solution, she turned to vibrionics. At the time of her first visit on 5 May 2023, she reported four anal tears, abscesses, a skin tag and swelling with pain following two days of hard stools. She had discontinued all other medication including creams. She was given:
#1. CC4.4 Constipation + CC15.1 Mental & Emotional tonic…TDS

- 24 June 2023: Three out of four tears and abscesses completely healed, pain while walking/sitting reduced by 85%, skin tag reduced by 50%. To support further healing: #4 enhanced to #6. - 8 July 2023: One tear and abscess still persisted, #6 and #7 suspended for a week during which, gave for cleansing #8. CC17.2 Cleansing…TDS.
- 27 July 2023: Complete resolution of all symptoms; patient felt well. So, #6 reduced to OD for 10 days and advised gradual tapering of remedies.
- 9 Aug 2023: Could not continue remedies due to mother’s health emergency.
For over a year, she remained symptom-free despite stress and frequent travel. On 13 Dec 2024, symptoms returned. Being out of town, she took homoeopathic treatment until 6 Feb 2025 without relief. As pain worsened, she re-visited the practitioner on 10 Feb 2025. She had 3 to 4 bowel movements daily - at least one being hard with extreme pain lasting 5 to 6 hours post-defecation and recurrence of skin tag. She was given #9. CC3.2 Bleeding disorders + CC4.6 Diarrhoea + CC4.10 Indigestion + #6…every ten minutes for an hour, this to be followed thrice daily; #7…BD in coconut oil and 6TD in water as spray.
- 3 Mar 2025: all symptoms improved by 50%, #9 reduced to 6TD.
- 10 Mar 2025: Complete resolution; #7 stopped, #9 reduced to TDS, then to OD on 10 May 2025.
As of Aug 2025, there has been no recurrence but the patient continues to take #9 at OD for maintenance.
Editor’s comment: Due to severity of symptoms, practitioner intentionally deviated from the standard dosage protocol for #9.
