1.  Question & Experience:  Nosode of a Placenta

I have a question about making nosode from the afterbirth (the placenta and fetal membranes that are expelled from the uterus after childbirth). I made such a nosode a few years ago for my friend when I was present at her delivery and could access the fresh placenta to make the nosode immediately. She used it for any imbalance in her body and in the baby's body. Another friend is going to have delivery and she would like to have the same thing.

Let me explain why I think that using a nosode of the placenta serves to clear any future imbalance in either the mother or the child. From the moment of conception, a baby carries characteristics from both parents including strengths and weaknesses inherited in its DNA. For example, babies who have skin rashes at birth are showing the first signs of the Psorinum or Tub-Bac miasm. If one gives the baby only one or two doses of these miasms at 200C potency – one dose soon after birth in pure water and another dose after an interval of 14 days – this treatment will clear the miasm from the baby permanently. If the treatment is given later in life, when other signs of the miasms are seen, the process might take much longer.

Some companies now collect stem cells from the placenta at birth and then freeze the stem cells to store for future use (They charge a lot of money for this service). So what we did in the case of my friend’s baby was to keep a small amount of  the afterbirth in our own freezer for future use.

I'm not going to be present during my friend’s upcoming delivery. She wants the nosode of her placenta and therefore my question is, How long can we wait to make a nosode of the placenta while still getting a good vibration from it? I am aware it has to be as soon as possible, but want to know if there is any time limit.

Answer: As the vibration of anything we want to make a nosode of is an integral part of it, and remains so until it becomes contaminated by bacteria or disintegrates, you may make a nosode until disintegration takes place. In the case of a placenta, like any live matter, deterioration could start in a very short time if it is not refrigerated.

We do not have any concrete data on utilization of the afterbirth. Any such experience and success of a practitioner would pave the way for a further evolution of Vibrionics.

We welcome any feedback on this subject.

Some information on Placenta / afterbirth and its benefits is given below for reference for our practitioners, along with a report on placental stem-cell research, as the subject is new.

Placenta/afterbirth and its benefits

The placenta is a structure/organ that develops in a woman’s uterus during pregnancy and is attached to the lining of the womb / wall of the uterus during pregnancy. The baby's umbilical cord arises from it. The placenta is an amazing organ that plays a crucial role in pregnancy in keeping the baby alive and well. It protects the baby against most bacteria, but not against viruses. An interesting feature about the placenta is that it has no nerve cells and therefore is not directly under the control of the brain or spinal cord. The period from just after the baby is born until just after the placenta is expelled through the vagina (which is usually within 15 to 30 minutes of birth) is called the third stage of labour. At this stage, the placenta is also called the afterbirth. When it is delivered after the birth of the baby, it looks somewhat like a piece of liver, and usually weighs about one sixth of the baby's weight.

The placenta provides oxygen and nutrients to the growing baby in the womb and removes waste products from the baby's blood like a kidney. The placenta also acts like a lung for the baby, allowing the transfer of oxygen just like the lungs do in a newborn baby or adult. The placenta produces a long list of hormones. The hormone produced in largest amount is human placental lactogen, which causes the mother to have more glucose in her circulation to pass on to her baby.

Potential uses for placental stem cells

A groundbreaking study conducted by Children's Hospital & Research Center (CH&RC) Oakland is the first to reveal a new avenue for harvesting stem cells from a woman's placenta, or more specifically the discarded placentas of healthy newborns. The study also finds there are far more stem cells in placentas than in umbilical cord blood, and they can be safely extracted for transplantation. Furthermore, it is highly likely that placental stem cells, like umbilical cord blood and bone marrow stem cells, can be used to cure chronic blood-related disorders such as sickle cell disease, thalassemia, and leukemia.

2.  Question: Is there a miasm for diabetes?

Answer: The Vibrionics 2004 guide gives 5 miasms – Medorrhinum, Psorinum, Syphilinum, Tuberculinum-Bacillinum (SR249-SR252) and Carcinosin (SR282) - a cancer nosode.  We also have SR560 All Miasms as an excellent cleanser for the whole body. Apart from these, there is no specific miasm for diabetes as far as we know.

3.  Question: Is there a remedy for genetic defects?

Answer: There is no general remedy for genetic defects per se but there are remedies for specific diseases associated with genetic markers such as cancer, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, infertility, mood disorders, autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis, etc.

4. Question:   A male patient, aged 33, though healthy with no problems as such, gets hungry and eats fast —both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. He has a liking for only certain foods. He has a normal bowel movement after each meal, but gets tired soon after the bowel movement following the mid-day meal and wants to sleep at times. He has no acidity, no known allergy or pain. Please suggest the line of Vibrionics treatment.

Answer: The tiredness/lethargy could be because of a possible allergy to one of the foods he is eating with relish, like cheese or a particular non veg item. He should try and discover what he is eating that is not giving him an allergy but is making him tired, and he should cut it out of his diet. Also his liver could be under some stress due to the richness of the food he may be taking to make him tired and sleepy. He should be advised to eat a modest diet with no butter, ghee, milk, cheese, oil, fat and no alcohol. He could resume a normal healthy diet gradually after his liver has rejuvenated itself. Alcohol would always be a ‘No’ at midday anyway. You may start with a combination of CC4.1 Digestion tonic + CC4.2 Liver & Gallbladder tonic, to see if this would help improve his condition.

5. Question:  A patient with psoriasis wishes to start Vibrionics treatment. Though he understands the pullout effects, he is afraid that his skin may be damaged and his joints may be affected if too much toxin gets released. (a) Is there any precedent for successful psoriasis treatment  (b) Please advise how to assuage fears of the patient and ensure that pullout is not too much. (c) Can he apply allopathic ointment, which I feel may suppress the pullout effect.

Answer: As mentioned in the 108 Common Combos Glossary, causes of psoriasis are unknown, but emotional stress, skin trauma, cold weather, infections and some drugs may trigger the attacks. The attacks could be genetic, hormonal, or caused by smoking. So ask your patient whether he is a smoker. If so, the problem may become worse, and it could even be the cause. Any old allopathic drug treatment undertaken may also get pulled out by a Vibrionics remedy. If he starts to treat the eruptions with allopathic ointment or cream, it will help his skin but the problem may move to the joints and later develop into arthritis.

So please give him an enlarged combo as follows:  CC15.1 Mental & Emotional tonic + CC20.3 Arthritis + CC21.10 Psoriasis...BD  or even OD to start with, and increase the dosage when there is less pull out or no pull out. Also give CC21.1 Skin tonic in some liquid or powder to apply on the affected area to calm the skin down. If none of this helps within a fortnight, then make a hair nosode. Advise the patient that the discomfort he may face initially will in the end clear the condition. He should abstain from smoking, if he is a smoker.

To know about precedents please refer to case histories in the Newsletters (To call up previous cases, do a keyword search for Psoriasis, or a subject search for 21. Skin). 6. Question: I have some questions about the effect of temperature on Vibrionics:

(a) Does exposure to extreme temperatures/climate affect the remedies prepared in alcohol, water, or globules, or the combos in the 108CC box?

(b) What is the effect of chilling a remedy?  How long may a remedy be exposed to colder temperatures (for example, when it is left by the postman in someone's mailbox) without an adverse effect?  Also, is the same true for the combos in the 108CC box, which are preserved in alcohol?  If so, what should a practitioner do in this case?

(c) If the108CC box is continuously exposed to higher temperatures for 2 or 3 months, would the healing vibrations in the alcohol get neutralized?

Answer: (a) & (b):  A remedy or combos can be exposed to cold atmosphere or cold temperatures for any length of time, without any deterioration to it. However, you should not store your remedy in the fridge as mechanical vibrations from the compressor would affect it.

(a) & (c): The highest temperature a remedy or combos can be exposed to is 40C [104F]. The inside temperature in a house, in our opinion, does not rise above 40C. Outside in direct sunlight, temperature can rise as high as 46C but then, we should not expose our vibrations to direct sunlight anyway as there is some possibility of neutralisation, even though we have anti-radiation remedy in all our bottles. In practice, many healers have their boxes continuously stored at room temperature in India for many months and these boxes are working perfectly well.
