White patches on tongue 11632...India
A 75-year-old woman had been wearing dentures continuously, even during sleep, for the past 35 years. In early Aug 2025, she noticed painless, non-scrapable two long white patches along the sides of her tongue. Assuming they were due to a vitamin deficiency, she increased her intake of vegetables and fresh fruit juices, but the patches persisted.
After two weeks, she consulted a dentist who prescribed a gargling solution and an ointment. When there was no improvement after 10 days, she returned for a review. The dentist explained that the patches were most likely related to long-term denture use and age-related changes, and that there was no cure. Concerned that the condition might worsen, she sought help from the practitioner on 10 Oct 2025 and was given:
#1. CC2.3 Tumours & Growths + CC11.5 Mouth infections...BD in coconut oil for application
#2. CC12.1 Adult tonic + #1...TDS orally and for gargling…BD
Allopathic solution and ointment were discontinued.
Treatment progress:
- 23 Nov 2025: Size and whiteness of patches decreased by 50%.
- 28 Dec 2025: Patches completely vanished; expressed relief and gratitude.
- 18 Jan 2026: #2 reduced to OD; #1 stopped.
- 1 Mar 2026: #2 stopped after tapering.
As of June 2026, there has been no recurrence.
