An 81-year-old man had been troubled by mild and constant burning sensation in his throat along with nausea for over six months, starting in early June 2023. This sensation intensified at night, necessitating frequent water intake ( 6 to 7 times) for relief, thus interfering with his sleep. The disrupted sleep resulted in daytime fatigue.
