Lichen striatus 11648 ...India
On 21 Feb 2025, the practitioner noticed a rash behind the right knee of her 7‑year‑old daughter (pic 1). It was reddish, bumpy and linear, 2–3 inches long. Next day, the girl developed a mild fever and cough which resolved completely within four days with vibrionics. In the process, rash got overlooked. By 4 Mar, rash had progressed rapidly (pic 2) extending to nearly 12 inches. It was painless with no itching, but girl felt uncomfortable because it was visible below the hem of her school uniform. Additionally, the girl had a history of allergies to certain foods.
On 4 Mar 2025, following remedies were started:
#1. CC21.2 Skin infections + CC21.3 Skin allergies + CC21.7 Fungus…BD in coconut oil for external application
#2. CC4.6 Diarrhoea + CC4.10 Indigestion + #1…6TD
Treatment progress:
- 5 Mar 2025: Rash continued to progress rapidly; dermatologist over video diagnosed this as lichen striatus, often triggered by fever or infection, stated that although self-limiting, it typically takes a few months to one year to resolve; girl revealed that mild rash had been present since Oct 2024; practitioner relied solely on vibrionics; #1 enhanced to #3: Potentized cow dung 1M + #1…TDS and #2 to #4: Potentized cow dung 1M + #2…TDS.
- 8 Mar 2025: Rash stopped to grow, became flatter; redness reduced.
- 13 Mar 2025: Rash flatter by 50% and dried up (pic 3), dead skin began to shed; redness decreased by 50%.
- 16 Mar 2025: Length of rash began to decrease (pic 4).
- 20 Mar 2025: Rash resolved completely (pic 5).
- 30 Apr 2025: #3 stopped.
- 30 May 2025: #4 stopped after gradual tapering.
As of Aug 2026, there has been no recurrence (pic 6).
